Meet Kaitlin
MSW, RSW, Clinical Director
Kaitlin is a Registered Social Worker with specialized training in trauma-informed care and over 10 years of experience supporting individuals through healing and growth in crisis settings and 1:1 clinical supports.
She provides a compassionate and collaborative space with a blend of gentle curiosity where clients can safely explore their experiences and reconnect with a sense of balance, self-compassion, and resilience.
Her therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from several evidence-based and experiential modalities including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), IFS (Internal Family Systems), DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Somatic Interventions, and the Hakomi Method.
EMDR facilitates the reprocessing of distressing memories, helping the brain integrate past experiences in a way that reduces emotional intensity and fosters healing.
IFS helps clients understand and compassionately connect with their inner “parts,” cultivating self-awareness and internal harmony.
DBT and CBT provide practical tools for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and cognitive restructuring to support healthier thought patterns and behaviours.
Somatic Interventions and Hakomi bring mindful attention to the body’s wisdom, helping to release stored tension and access deeper self-understanding and calm.
Kaitlin tailors each session to the individual, integrating these approaches to meet the client’s unique needs, pace, and goals. Her work emphasizes safety, trust, and empowerment—supporting clients as they move beyond survival and toward meaningful, sustainable healing.
